To enhance results, please avoid exfoliation or abrasive skin care products for seven days pre treatment, including retinol, lactic acid and glycolic acid.
POST TREATMENT CARE
Most clients are able to return to normal activities immediately after the treatment. Some clients experience slight redness in the treated areas however this fades quickly. The degree of redness will be related to intensity of the procedure and also your skin’s own sensitivity. Ensure daily sun protection to avoid hyperpigmentation. Avoid direct sun exposure and self tanning wherever possible.

CHEMICAL PEEL
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) offer a more powerful exfoliation and more dramatic results. Chemical peels are one of the best way to refresh your skin when it's feeling dull and rough. There are different types of AHA peels (glycol and lactic are two common examples) and they can help with a number of skin issues such as dryness, clogged pores, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and acne.
Beta Hydroxy Acid Peels (BHA) are derived form many sources and tend to reach deeper into the skin then AHAs. The most common example is Salicylic acid. Due to its ability to get deeper into the skin, BHAs are used to control oiliness, acne and to remove dead skin cells.
Jessner's Peel solution is a combination of salicylic acid, lactic acid, and resorcinol. This benefit form both AHA and BHAs used to treat wrinkles and uneven pigmentation.

After the treatment the skin is red and a burning sensation similar to a mild sunburn will be experienced. Three to four days later the old skin comes off. Do not speed the peeling. CONTRAINDICATION
If you are on accutane: accutane is recognized as a highly effective medical treatment for acne. Unfortunately, it can cause severe side effects. Your aesthetician will not perform a GREEN PEEL® treatment until six months after you have stopped taking this medication.
If you are pregnant: we have no reason to believe that GREEN PEEL® Herbal Peeling will have any negative effect on either the mother or the growing baby. Yet our instructions are to delay treatment until after the birth – after all, we wouldn’t want to get drawn into any unrelated problems with the pregnancy.
If you have a heart pacemaker: the same applies. We don’t perform a treatment to avoid getting caught in any complications.
If you suffer from Acne Rosacea: GREEN PEEL® Herbal Peeling has shown outstanding results in study cases of acne, no matter how severe. However, acne rosacea cannot be treated.
If you have any other unusual conditions: metal implants, skin grafts, bacterial infections, birth marks etc. may be reasons why you can’t have a treatment.
